- Shave all areas that you normally shave.
- Exfoliate your body and face entirely.
The same day you receive your tan:
- DO NOT use any deodorant, body cream/lotions, make up or perfume the day of your session.
- DO NOT shave the day of your session to prevent minor spotting.
- DO NOT wax any areas f your body including your face within 48 hours of your session.
- Wear dark, loose fitting clothing (NO tight fitting clothing, socks or tight fitting shoe apparel). Flip-flops recommended.
- Cotton clothing is optimal (DHA bronzer stains will wash out of most cotton clothing).
- Please bring suitable tanning attire (remember staining may occur) if you prefer to wear something during your session.
- We recommend that you bring dark, loose fitting clothing to slip on after your session (however, any minor rub off should wash out of most cotton fabrics).
- To prevent streaking, avoid water for at least 8 hours after your tanning session.
- DO NOT shower or bathe for at least 8 hours (it is best to wait until the next morning).
- We recommend that you DO NOT engage in any activities that may cause you to perspire excessively, until the day after you tan.
- Avoid touching or rubbing any tanned areas until after you’ve taken your first shower.
- To lengthen the life of your tan, DO NOT exfoliate your skin for at least 7 days after tanning.
- When you shower or bathe DO NOT scrub your body with a washcloth (use hand and soap only) to prevent unintended exfoliation of your skin.
- Hydrating your skin daily helps maintain a longer life for your tan.
** MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE **
- Your tan will naturally fade over a period of days as your skin exfoliates itself. Each tan should last approximately 5 – 7 days, depending on your lifestyle and if you follow these instructions. Note: chlorine in pools will cause your tan to fade quicker, as it contains bleach!
